Court of Appeal decision on meaning of contract of sale
On 3 December 2009, the Court of Appeal delivered judgment ex tempore in City & General (Investments) Ltd v Razama Ltd, where the issue was whether or not the seller had complied with an obligation to obtain prior to the completion date Network Rail’s consent to a development of the land under sale.
