About Us

We are the only set of barristers all of whose members specialise in property law and allied topics. We have 14 King’s Counsel and 33 junior barristers. Details can be found on individual members’ webpages

Former members of Chambers include the past President of the Supreme Court (Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury), Lord Justice Lewison, Mr Justice Morgan, Mr Justice Fancourt and the Deputy President of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) (Martin Rodger KC).  

Current members of Chambers include one Deputy High Court Judge, two Recorders, three Deputy District Judges, four Judges of the First-Tier Tribunal (Land Registration), three past Chairmen of the Property Bar Association. In addition, many are as well members of a number of professional organisations, including the Chancery Bar Association, the Property Bar Association, the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association, the Compulsory Purchase Association, the Planning and Environment Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Four members of Chambers are honorary members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).  

Falcon Chambers is committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of all members and staff.

It recognises that the work undertaken by barristers and staff is often demanding and pressured, and recognises the importance of promoting health and wellbeing in preventing poor health and lifestyle-related issues.

The following objectives and strategies are adopted as part of everyday practice:

1. Recognising the importance of the need for a healthy lifestyle;
2. Raising awareness of the need for, and supporting individuals in achieving, a balance between work and personal life;
3. Creating a working environment which encourages discussion of wellbeing; and
4. Providing support for barristers and staff who may experience a wellbeing issue.

Chambers has a Wellbeing Committee who work on promoting and improving the wellbeing of individuals in Chambers, and a detailed wellbeing policy which applies to anyone for whom Chambers constitutes a working environment.
