Hamish joined chambers as a tenant in October 2026 after completion of his pupillage. He is developing a practice across all areas of commercial and residential property law.
During pupillage Hamish gained experience of a broad range of work, including:

- Civil fraud
- Development agreements
- Easements
- Forfeiture
- Highways and infrastructure
- Land registration
- Mortgages, including FCA regulation
- Possession proceedings, both residential and commercial
- Restrictive covenants
- Telecommunications
- The Building Safety Act 2022
- Trespass and adverse possession
Before joining Falcon, Hamish studied Classics with an organ scholarship at New College, Oxford. He completed the GDL and BVS courses with distinction at City Law School.
Outside of practice, he enjoys cycling and hiking and plays the piano and organ.
