Interim Injunctions: (i) what judges worry about and (ii) recent developments concerning protestors - zoominar
Falcon Chambers is hosting five zoominars in our latest 'Property Pointers' series, covering various aspects of property law. These will be presented by junior counsel and aimed particularly at solicitors up to 5 years’ PQE, they would also be useful to surveyors and other professionals working in the property industry.
Each seminar will last for 45 minutes. There will be 15 minutes for questions at the end.
In this third instalment of the series Michael Ranson and Taylor Briggs will dicuss interim injunctions. Practitioners will be familiar with the theory behind ‘American Cyanamid’ but this session will guide attendees through the issues which tend to play on judges’ minds when asked to grant, often urgent, interim injunctions in the real world. There will be a particular focus on the developing law relating to protestors. If you have ever wondered about the role of a cross-undertaking in damages or what ‘preserving the status quo’ really means, this is a session for you.
You can book this session here.
