PBA Conference 2020 Property Development: obstacles, restrictions and pitfalls
The attempt to “build back better” means that property practitioners need to be aware of some of the commonly encountered issues around development. The aim of the 2020 virtual PBA Conference is to provide an understanding of a selection of such issues.
Keynote addresses will be given by Lord Justice Nugee and Martin Rodger QC, Deputy President of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
Caroline Shea QC and Gavin Bennison will be hosting Workshop 5 at 12:00 on Development Contracts, Options and Overage.
The day closes with Guy Fetherstonhaugh QC and Joanne Wicks QC (interviewed by Brie Stevens-Hoare QC), discussing their road to success including the difficulties they have faced, reflecting on how they have arrived at where they are and the challenges for the Property Bar in 2020.
