Falcon Chambers sponsors The Worshipful Company of Arbitrators’ Mediation Skills Competition
Falcon Chambers is pleased to be sponsoring The Worshipful Company of Arbitrators' Tenth UK Mediation Skills Competition for UK law students, taking place this weekend at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in London.
Teams of students, trainee solicitors and pupil barristers will compete in realistic mediation scenarios, with proceedings conducted by experienced mediators and supported by 'judges' (practitioners in a variety of dispute resolution processes).
As a set, we take a keen interest in mediation and arbitration. A number of our members are qualified mediators, and we also offer a specialist property arbitration service through Falcon Chambers Arbitration. Many of our arbitrators are Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb) and all are experienced in dispute resolution.
Against that background, we are particularly delighted to be associated with a competition that exposes participants to the highest standards of commercial mediation practice.
