Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, Master of the Rolls
Chambers is delighted and proud to announce that its former member and Head of Chambers, Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, has been appointed Master of the Rolls and Head of Civil Justice. He was sworn in on 1st October 2009 when he took over from Lord Clarke of Stone-cum-Ebony. Lord Neuberger became a High Court Judge of the Chancery Division in 1996, was promoted to the Court of Appeal in 2004, and then again to the House of Lords in 2007. The members of Chambers wish him every success and happiness in his new role.
