Gavin Bennison obtains County Court judgment for over £11 million
On 4 May 2023, HHJ Johns KC in the County Court in Central London gave judgment in the case of B2 Bridging LLP v NV Management (Eur) Ltd & Ors, following the seven-day trial of a fiercely contested, high-value mortgage possession claim.
The defendant borrower advanced a wide range of defences to the claim, each of which were rejected at trial. The judgment considers a number of commonly encountered and important points in mortgage possession law.
Gavin Bennison, instructed by Roumiana Dimitrova, Violena Taseva and Michael Michael of Fahri LLP, acted for the successful claimant.
